By accessing or using Link Code Generator (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part, please do not use the Service.
1. Use License & Generated Content
You are free to use the tools on Link Code Generator for any personal or commercial purpose. All QR codes, URLs, and code snippets you generate are yours to keep and use without restriction or attribution. You may not use the Service to generate content that promotes illegal activity, spam, malware, phishing, or infringes the intellectual property rights of others. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate this policy.
We reserve the right to limit usage that places unreasonable burden on our infrastructure.
2. Pro Plan & Billing
The Pro plan is billed monthly or annually via Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. You may cancel at any time from your Dashboard — your Pro features will remain active until the end of your current billing period. We offer a 14-day 100% money-back guarantee on all new Pro subscriptions, no questions asked. To request a refund, contact hello@linkcodegenerator.com within 14 days of your purchase date. Prices are in USD and subject to change with 30 days notice to existing subscribers.
3. Account Suspension & Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms, engage in abuse of the Service, or for any activity we determine to be harmful to other users or the platform. You may also delete your account at any time by contacting hello@linkcodegenerator.com. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days. Pro subscribers will receive a pro-rated refund for any unused subscription time at the time of termination at our discretion.
4. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Link Code Generator and its founder shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business — arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the event giving rise to the claim.
5. Dynamic QR Codes & Scan Data
Pro subscribers who create Dynamic QR Codes grant Link Code Generator permission to serve a redirect on their behalf when the QR code is scanned. Scan analytics (timestamp, approximate location, device type) are stored for up to 12 months and accessible via the Dashboard. You may delete this data at any time.
6. Third-Party Services
The Service integrates with third-party providers including Stripe (payments), Cloudflare (hosting and edge delivery), Google (authentication), and Sentry (error monitoring). Your use of the Service is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party platform changes, outages, or data handling practices.
7. Governing Law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Saskatchewan, Canada. All disputes shall first be attempted to be resolved by direct contact at hello@linkcodegenerator.com. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it shall be submitted to binding arbitration in Saskatchewan, Canada.
8. Dynamic QR Code Redirect Policy
Users may not use dynamic QR codes to redirect to malicious, deceptive, illegal, or harmful content — including but not limited to phishing pages, malware, spam, or content that violates applicable law. We reserve the right to deactivate any dynamic QR code at any time without notice if it is found to violate these terms. Repeat violations will result in permanent account termination without refund.
