How to Cancel or Change Your Plan

Learn how to cancel your Pro subscription, change billing frequency, or downgrade your account — all self-serve, no support ticket needed.

How to Cancel Your Subscription

  1. Sign in to your account
  2. Go to Settings
  3. Click Cancel Subscription (or Manage Billing)
  4. In the Stripe billing portal, click Cancel plan
  5. Confirm the cancellation

Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you keep Pro access until then. There's no immediate cutoff.

What Happens After Cancellation?

  • Your account downgrades to the free plan when the billing period ends
  • All your saved QR codes remain in your account
  • You can still view, download, and manage up to 5 saved static QR codes
  • Dynamic QR codes stay in your dashboard (read-only) — existing scans still redirect, but you can't edit destinations or create new ones
  • SVG/PDF export is disabled; PNG download remains free

Will I Get a Refund?

Cancellation stops future charges but doesn't automatically issue a refund. If you're within the first 14 days, you qualify for our no-questions-asked refund policy. Email hello@linkcodegenerator.com and we'll process it promptly.

How to Change Your Billing Frequency

  1. Go to Settings → Manage Billing
  2. In the Stripe portal, click your current plan
  3. Switch between monthly and yearly

Switching to yearly is prorated — you'll be credited for unused time on monthly.

How to Reactivate

You can reactivate Pro at any time from the Pricing page. All your saved QR codes and settings are preserved.
